Neet 2019 preparation | Best books | Self study | Notes guide
As we all know neet is going to be conducted by NTA from 2019 own wards. There are certain changes in exam mode like from now on neet will be conducted online twice a year and rest of the things are same there is no change in exam fee and most importantly in syllabus. Now the main question comes up how do we prepare for it
. what should be the correct way to study .Books,time-table, whether we should take the tuition classes or not , it doesn't matter how hours do you study, all that matter to me is how do we study because only You have to timely test your performance through experts guidance.
In today's environment where students join big coaching centres, teachers will not focus on each student individually.
There will be no issues of leakage and it would be more student-friendly, open, scientific and a leak-proof system.
we all should never underestimate the value of self-study :-
- Cultivates the habit of studying by your own. Enhances fluency in the language.
- Your own timetable. You don't have to follow the timetable and rules made by someone. When you feel like studying that subject you can do it, without anyone permission.(learning doesn't need permission).
- Self study is best way to achieve our targeted goal. We can not get succeeded in life without self study. One main factor which need for our continuous self study is positivity from our heart and goal oriented plan which improve the enthuses of us to gain more knowledge.
- For get any success we have to try both by learn from others and it's improve with our continuously self study we may achieve something if we learn from teachers or others but it's surely we say that if we do both self study and learn from teachers or others then surely we success in every stage of life.
Subject-wise Study
Be consistent. To get into a top-notch college, you need to study sincerely for about 7-8 hours daily. You may go above it but don't fall below 6 hours. You might be a genius, but it's always the hard work that's more reliable.

Study all the chapters as they are taught to you. Don't let anything go to the back portion. It's something that begins piling up once it starts.
Make sure you complete your 11th and 12th syllabus by December. Then you should begin solving question papers with a timer.
Understand concepts
Concepts are to be understood, not mugged up. One concept is linked to another and you will easily find how out how. Once you clearly see each concept for what it is all about, you will be ready for the next step.
In order to learn a difficult concept (i.e. to place a brick high up), you must first learn all the concepts that compose it ( i.e. place all the necessary bricks beneath it). Otherwise your knowledge will be based on just a mechanical process instead of an intuitive understanding (a strong foundation), and you won't be able to use that knowledge outside of the controlled environment of the classroom.
Make a List All the Subjects You Need to StudyStrategy to be followed
Now, the strategy that we want you to follow is:
- NCERT is the BIBLE. So Read the NCERT and attempt questions of the NCERT.
- Go to the next level book that you have (find the links to the best books at the end of the article)
- Solve and attempt questions simultaneously.
- With time increase the level to NEET and then to move slowly advanced level.
Strategy for reading neet books
start from the beginning and choose the subject you’re good at initially. Once you gain confidence in certain areas, move immediately to a concept and a subject that is your weakness. Invest a good amount of time in understanding and later practising questions on the concept. The key to score good marks by neet books is to prepare them well. Rote learning is to be avoided at all costs. Keep alternating your preparation between neet books from a weak subject and a strong subject. This way you’ll create a balance.
Time table
First of all you need to decide either you will study early morning or late night.
Then you have to make sure that you do at least 6 hours of self study apart from your coaching classes because i have seen many students who do very well in coaching classes and didn't do self study and they had to suffer later on.
So basically my point is you will be able to crack NEET if you do your self study honestly.
Try to solve as much questions as possible in physics , physical chemistry and organic chemistry. Always try to make some shortcuts to remember examples or tables.
At last don't study for too long at a stretch. I basically preferred to study for 50 mins and then take a 10 min gap. Try to sleep for 7 hrs in your 24 hour cycle ( i slept 5 for 5 hours at night and then 2 hours in evening).
Ps:-
study yourself. No tutors. No in class studies. You have to read and understand everything yourself and study to your own plan. Except for mandatory assignments if any you have to have your own targets. Bottom line is that you are not given any assistance except providing you with the syllabus, recommended text books or a study pack. Depending on the programmer you may have webinars.
